We perform health checks every morning and night, and also during the summit night. We check heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

NO TIPS are required or expected with Kilimanjaro Mountaintop Adventures. Our porters and guides are paid 4x more than the average daily porter/guide wage, so they are guaranteed a great salary and don't rely on tips like they do working for other companies. Most companies have a “tipping ceremony” or have you fill out tip sheets, which can make for an awkward experience for hikers and is often distributed unfairly anyway. But with Kilimanjaro Mountaintop Adventures, you will not be asked for a tip.
